I love this weather!

What beautiful weather! The boys and I have been enjoying getting out and going for walks. I am determined to work on this baby weight. We are counting the days until April when RSV season is over. Unfortunately, I have to go back to work on April 6th, so I won't be able to enjoy it until summertime.

Do we look beach ready or what???
Heath-R-Bob, mister cool dude.

Hunter-Bo, do I look precious or what??

Our New Toy

The boys have a new favorite toy. They will lay under this for about 30 minutes at a time kicking and swinging their arms. They love to look around and look at each other. With all of the arms flying, they usually manage to beat up on each other, but they still seem to be having fun.

Hunter thinks this toy is great, but...

Heath is truly excited!

What's wrong with this picture?

Does anyone see something wrong with these pictures?
Does this bed look a little big for them? (Hunter is yawning, not screaming)
This is the boys porta crib that is in our room.

I always said I wouldn't let my children sleep in my bed with me, but now I think if it will give me a few extra hours of sleep...the more the merrier! This doesn't happen every night, but this one was a particularly challenging night.

Two Months Old

The boys had their two month doctors visit yesterday. Heath weighs 10lbs 15.5 oz and is 21 and 1/2 inches long. Hunter weighs 11lbs 7oz and is also 21 and 1/2 inches long. The boys got all of their shots along with their RSV shot. They have been cranky, sore, and running fever all night. I think the fever broke about 3:00am. They seem to be doing OK now. They get to start drinking juice and the doctor changed them over to a soy formula, so maybe that will help with the tummy problems. They are starting to sleep for 5 hour stretches, which mom and dad are THRILLED about. They are growing up so fast.
More cute clothes for Momma to show off. You can tell that Heath is happy about it. These outfits say "Here a Baa, There a Baa"....
....but the cutest part is the tail on the bottom.

Happy Valentines Day from Heath and Hunter

Happy Valentines Day to you all. Check out the cool new outfits from Aunty Blake and our cool new toys from Mimi and Papa, and Grandma and Grandpa. We are truly blessed to have so many people who love us!

Tonight, Aunty Blake and Mimi are going to babysit us while Mommy and Daddy get to go out to eat. We will try to be good boys while they are gone...but we can't promise anything :).

What a day!

I'm exhausted! There were really no major things that happened today, I just feel like I've been running all day today. The boys alternated waking up and crying today. As soon as I would get Heath to sleep and lay him down, Hunter would cry and want to be held. When I finally got him back down to sleep, Heath would wake up. This started late last night and lasted all day today. I'm running on about 2 hours of sleep. I haven't changed a diaper today without being peed on, and haven't fed a bottle today without being thrown up on. I'm tired.
So I'll leave you with an adorable picture of my boys, to remind me that it is all worth it.

TAG- to help out new moms

Here are some questions that I am curious to know the answers from all of you. Consider it a "tag" to all of the moms that could answer my questions. If you have a blog, you can post it on your blog like a regular "tag" or answer in the comment section. If you don't have a blog, please feel free to answer in the comments. I know all babies are different, I'm just curious as to where my boys stand and milestones I have to look forward to.

1) Breastfeed, Formula, or both?

2)If you used formula, what kind?

3) Breastfeed...how long?

4) What kind of bottles did you use?

5) At what age did you introduce rice cereal?

6) Did you put it in the bottle or just feed it with a spoon?

7) Did it help your child sleep through the night?

8) How old was your child when he/she finally slept through the night?

9) What was the times? from _____ to ______

10) How old was your child when you could put her in a Bumbo? If you had one.

11) When did he first smile/laugh (not gas related)?

12) Did your child have reflux?

13) Did you have medicine for reflux? Did it help?

14) When did the reflux stop?

Thanks for your answers! I'm sure they will help all of the new mommies.

I tag all the moms who read this blog.

A hunting we will go...

OK, so we really didn't go hunting, but we did break out our camo coveralls. We just went for a walk around the block, but we were stylin` while we did it. They are still a little big as you can see from the lack of hands...still precious.

Caution- Not for the weak in the stomach

I know that this blog is going to be totally gross...but I need help from all of my blogger buddies.

My sweet boy Hunter only has a BM every other day, it is green and the odor of it and the gas that precedes it is highly offensive. I have always been told that babies poop doesn't stink that bad until you start them on different foods. Right now, both boys are on breast milk and formula (because I can't keep up with two babies on breast milk...I'm not a cow). Heath's poop doesn't smell that bad and he has a BM every day. So why is Hunter's so bad? Is this normal or is he sick? Do I need to address this with my doctor?

On a lighter note...I did manage to con Chris in to changing one of these said diapers, and when I walked in to see what all of the screaming was about...this is what I found. Heath and I laughed. Too Funny!

Our 1st play-date

This past Saturday our good friends Amy and Dustin Grigsby came to visit us with their twins Landon and Eli. It was great to see them all, and we got to hold and cuddle with each others boys. Landon and Eli are also under restrictions as to who they can be around and where they can go, so for a little while...we all got to be under restrictions together.

My Mother-in-law, Kathy with Eli, Me with Landon, Amy holding Heath, and Dustin holding Hunter.

Left to Right: Eli, Landon, Heath, Hunter

We had a blast and hope that they can come back to visit next time they are in town.
