Taking it a little far...don't ya think

This is the result of Hunter taking Heath's remote control away ( plus it was almost bed time and he was very tired). I tried to ignore the fit, but it just got too funny. It went on long enough for me to go and get the camera and film it.

Don't all men act this way when you take the remote control away?

Spring Break - Take 2 Bath Time

We got to take a bath in the granddaddy of all bathtubs...

....then we had to take a bath in the grand-baby of all bath tubs...
....after that, we had to endure Aunt Shi dressing us and brushing our hair.

Mommy doesn't think that one piece pjs are that complicated???
Just kidding Aunt Shi. We "heart" you.

Spring Break- Take 1

We started out our spring break with a stop in San Saba at Grandma and Pops house.

We had a blast playing outside in the leaves (wouldn't that be a fall activity???) and playing with their dog, Rowdy.

I thought this video was funny. I was trying to catch footage of the boys playing in the leaves, but when Hunter caught sight of the camera, he attacked me.

Happy St. Patty Day

Hope you had a wonderful St. Patrick's Day.

Sorry we're a little late. We've been having a wonderful spring break. Prepare yourself for numerous upcoming spring break post.

I couldn't get the boys to slow down long enough to pose together, so these were the best pictures that I caught.
Have a good one,
Chris, Crystal, and the Lucky Charms

Any Suggestions...

How do you teach them to use a spoon...

... and not lick, like a dog, from the bowl?

Why is it that I can barely get the suction bowls up from the high chairs, but the moment I turn my back the boys already have them lifted?

If you know the secret...please help me!?!? I really do not want meal time to continue to be play time.

What Reality TV Show Are You?

This has been a recent topic of conversation around our house. If you were going to be on a reality TV show and WIN, which one would it be? There are so many reality shows out there now days, there has to be one for everybody. Here are our top picks for the closest family.

  • My Dad (Jimmy) and My sister, Amy - The Amazing Race We think they would be good at this because they can read a map (always a plus), they are highly competitive, they are resourceful, and my dad will talk to anyone and that might be a plus when you need directions.
  • My sister, Kay - Survivor I think this would be right up Kay's alley. She is very much the outdoor type, she is strong, she is highly competitive, and she wouldn't get into the "drama" of all the cat fights.
  • My Mom - Iron Chef This one is obvious! My mom is by far the best cook I know. She is also very resourceful because living on the ranch, she doesn't always have the needed ingredients.
  • Chris - I can not find the name of the show that Chris should be on, but it is on the Outdoor Channel. It is the show where you have a partner and one of you hunts and the other one films it. You get points on the score of the hunt and the quality of the filming. Chris would be great at this because he is an excellent hunter and he always pretends that someone is filming him, anyway.
  • Me - Celebrity Apprentice It took a lot of debating to choose this one for me, and I'm pretty sure it was chosen because I don't fit in any other category. I like to think this one was chosen because I like to host events and throw parties, I am a very organized (Type A) person, and (according to Mom and Dad) I could argue with a fence post.

So there you have it. Now, my question is...what reality TV show are you? You don't have to watch the show, (I can't think of the last time I watched any of these shows) just choose the one that might fit you best. I can't wait to hear your answers.

...and I thought Cookies were messy...

It's not rare to see the boys carrying Dr. Pepper cans around the house and pretend to drink them. It's funny to me that they know what to do with them because they have seen us drink out of the cans so much.
I have tons of pictures like this, and until yesterday, I have never been too concerned about it. I mean, other than a really "shook up" drink...what could be the harm?
Well, yesterday, Hunter dropped his on the edge of the gate leading into the kitchen. It spewed and spun and absolutely drenched the kitchen, the walls, the floor, the gate, the hallway, the living room, and anything else that was within a 5 yard radius.
The pictures do not do it justice. I was on my hands and knees cleaning as fast as I could because, of course, this happened right as we were fixing to walk out the door for church.
BTW, Hunter FREAKED out. The sound and the exploding DP scared him so bad, and when Hunter is screaming blood murder, guess who else is??? You guessed it, Heath was, too. Thankfully, Papa and Mimi were there to calm the babies while I dealt with the mess.

Who Stole The Cookie?

I turned my back for 1 second and this is what I get:
Which Cookie Monster did it?
Heath looks pretty guilty...
...but I'm sure Hunter is not completely innocent!
