Got Worms?

Anyone who knows my husband, knows that he is an avid hunter and fisherman.  So, it's not a big deal around our house that he is trying to raise worms in my back flower bed under my plants.  Doesn't matter to me because they will help my plants grow and will give them nutrients and it's an excuse for Chris to have  to water those flowers.  It's a win/win.

Well, yesterday the long awaited worms arrived in the mail.  The problem was....the box leaked.  When they were delivered to the post office they started crawling out of the box and all over the post office.  The postal worker freaked out and started asking random people if they knew the game warden or his phone number.  People started calling Chris and stopping him on the street telling him that there was something for him at the post office.

When he arrived at the post office to pick up his package the postal lady was HOT!  She handed him his small package and another large box that contained all the worms that she had picked up off the floor of the mail room. She made him leave his phone number just in case there were anymore "weird" packages delivered.

I'm sure she doesn't think it's as funny as I do, but I just can't stop laughing.

How to fish by the Amthor Twins
 First, you catch the bait

Then you catch the fish.

Finally, you clean the fish.

More Babysitter Files

From the Babysitter last week:

(A very long text message)
Here is a new one for you. I noticed Kayin sitting on the couch by himself looking very innocent and I asked him where Heath and Hunter were.  Seek and Destroy must have heard me asking about them because they both quickly ran out of the bathroom and closed the door behind themselves.  It was as if Kayin was the look out.

I went into the bathroom to see what they were up to and noticed they had unrolled nearly an entire roll of toilet paper into the potty.  The potty was FULL.  I could only imagine that one of them was unrolling the paper as fast as possible and the other was picking it up and shoving it into the potty.  I told them that we couldn't flush the potty with all of that in there and sternly asked that they were thinking!

I glared and put my hand on my hip, ready for their answer.  They sweetly replied that they needed another "Spotting Scope".  You see they already had two (a toilet paper roll and a paper towel roll) and they needed a third one for their friend who was sitting ever so sweetly on the couch.

Needless to say I laughed until I cried, but I had a fountain Dr. Pepper in my hands as a peace offering when I showed up to pick up the twins.

These Two Hold My Heart...

...in the palm of their hands.
It's impossible to get a good picture!  "Hey Brother, let's attempt to drive Mom bonkers while she tries to take our picture!"

What little boy could make it through life with out a coon skin hat?
