PreK school pictures

I have fraternal twins.  They really don't look a thing alike.  However, their eyes and their smiles in their Pre-K school pictures definitely challenge that idea.  That (goofy) smile is exactly the same.  They are still pretty cute though.

We're Moving!

Well, I guess it is about time to let the world know.  We're moving!  Not too far, just about 14 miles from where we live now onto a ranch Southeast of town.  Having been born and raised on a ranch myself, it has always been a dream of mine to raise my boys on a ranch, too.  I want them to explore the hills and canyons just like I did when I was their age.  We are going to have a brand new house that should be finished sometime this spring.

This will be the view from our wrap around front porch.
Looking into this canyon will be the view from the back.

Just this week they finished pouring the cement foundation.
We got to leave our hand prints in the cement.  Starting sometime next week, the framers will be here.
We are super excited about our new house.  I'll try to post more as the building continues.

Toot toot

Time to toot my own horn.  Last year for my birthday, my awesome mom gave me cake decorating classes and all the fun decorating supplies to go along with the class.  I had a blast learning how to decorate cakes and have had even more fun putting my knowledge to work. Some are better than others, but hey, I'm still a tyro.  Need a cake decorated??? Call me up!

Halloween 2013

This year, the twins and their BFF went dressed as the 3 Blind Mice for Halloween.

Here are 2/3 mice.
The Three!  The sticks were quickly taken away by their teacher.  A little dangerous.
Mrs. Davis (their teacher) went as the farmers wife.
Here are the rodents being judge for the costume contest.  We didn't win.  :(

I went as a cup of Starbucks Coffee.  Coffee! Coffee! Coffee!

(Ignore the terrible phone picture)  Here is the "Farmer's Wife" having a sip of "Coffee".
Halloween is so much fun at an elementary school!

A New Level of Wild

I'm super behind on my blogging, just bare with me.

During dove season Daddy bought the boys their very own Red Ryder BB guns.  We are starting gun safety early around this house hold.
