I'm pretty new at this, but I love to come home from work some days and read other friends blogs to see what the rest of the world is doing. So I decided to make my own. So here it goes...
On Tuesday, Chris and I noticed that our precious dog, Warden, had a large bloody spot on his neck. Naturally we were concerened but it didn't look too serious. Today (after realizing it wasn't getting any better) Chris called me at school about 10, asking if I would have time to run Warden to Ozona to the vet clinic. He couldn't take him because he had to go out of town (official game warden duties). So after rearranging my schedule, bribing my co-teacher to take my tutorial group, and sweet talking my mom into going with me, I loaded up Warden and made my way 1 hour to the vet.
When we finally got there, we were in the vets office for about 2 minutes. Warden has a "hot spot". It is nothing to worry about and the vet made me feel like a fool for even taking the dog. I guess he just doesn't understand that for those of us who don't have children, Warden is our child.
The only good part of the day was that Mom and I grabbed Blizzards at Dairy Queen on the ride home, and they were so good we decided we should take the dog to the vet on a weekly basis.
I made it home just in time for aerobics...which didn't set well with the Blizzard.
