The Jimmy Watts 4-H Center

Last night we attended the dedication ceremony of the new 4-H center. The county decided to name it after a man who has worked for over 30 years with the 4-H program and the man who worked for many, many years to have this building built, my daddy.
I couldn't have been prouder.

Last Get-Away of the Summer

We didn't go far, but we we did get away. We headed off to San Marcos and hit the outlet malls. Then we followed that up with the Glass Bottom Boat tour.
We went to the Natural Bridges wildlife ranch. The boys loved feeding all of the animals. The ostrich got a little too close for comfort though.
After a few days of that, we met up with Lolly and Pops and played and floated in the river.

It was just what we needed before gearing up for the start of a new school year.

Devil's River 2014

We are back from our annual week at the river.  We had a blast, as always, and caught a lot of fish.  We read lots of books and played in the river until we turned into fish.

The nephews and a niece with their fish.

The twins finally after 5 long years got the chance to go night fishing with their daddy.  They loved it, especially all of the flashlights and glow sticks.

Batman and Superman made many appearances.
Sunday we had church and we had a guest preacher, Chris.  He was awesome.
Fishing is exhausting!
The catch.  We came home with 90 pounds of filleted catfish.
The cuties.

Heath, turtle man.
