I know this post is a little late...but I've been a little busy.
Four days after the arrival of our boys and four days before Christmas (December 21st) , Chris and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. We spent the day in the NICU cuddling with our little men, and Chris and I both decided we wouldn't have wanted to spend it any other way.
When Chris and I got married, I thought there was no way that I could love him more than I did on our wedding day. I was head over heels. I have found, however, that I love him more each day, and I didn't know that was possible. Since our boys have arrived, there has been no exception. He is wonderful with them. He is not afraid to change diapers, bathe, feed, or just lay on the couch and cuddle with them.
The ultimate height of my love for him came when we were in the NICU. Surrounded by other parents and nurses, Chris loudly sang "Rock-a-bye Baby" to Hunter. He completely ignored the stares and funny looks that he received when his version consisted of buying a Bass Boat and a Shot gun instead of a mockingbird and a diamond ring. He would do anything for these boys. I fell a little more in love.
