The Boppy

I have been asked numerous times what the one baby item that I could not have lived without would be. My answer: The boppy.

This is such a handy little pillow.
When we first brought the boys home from the hospital last year, it is what we propped them up in for their 1st Christmas picture.

Joe Cool took numerous naps while propped in the Boppy, (even though the tag says not to) because it helped with reflux. The boys spent lots of tummy time in their Boppys.

We never left home without them.

They were a life saver for double feeding.

They were used as back support and helped the boys learn to sit up...until Heath was just plain exhausted.

Even still, I use the Boppy for arm support to rest my arm on while feeding and cuddling with my babies...

...and the boys still use it to lay in to drink their bottles

However, recently, Daddy discovered the best use of all for the Boppy. It makes a great "mane" while he is roaring like a lion.

Yep, I think this is the best way to use it.

MISSING!

Missing: Two adorable little 10 month olds who used to SLEEP. They have secretly been replaced with look alikes that wake up crying every ten minutes.

If found: Please return to the tired Momma with bags under her eyes who is amazingly running on an average of 3 hours sleep this week.

Worn out!

This title could mean a number of things, but this time, I'm only talking about clothes.

Does anyone else get annoyed that your children have the cutest outfits and before they get to wear them a handful of times, they out grow them? It drives me crazy. Well, we have officially "worn out" an outfit. Granted, they are only pajamas and they are a little small anyway, but I love them because they are easy to get on and they zip up. Dressing these boys is like trying to put pantyhose on a running deer. I'm sad that they only make cotton, zip up PJs up to 9 months size. I can't find them any bigger. :(

I'm sure the "speed of lightening" crawling has something to do with this.

Any suggestions for new, easy to get on, PJs? or where I could possibly find a larger size in the cotton, zip ups?

Monkey See, Monkey Do

I can't think of a better way to describe my two little monkeys, so of course, this was the perfect Halloween costume. They are crawling, hanging, climbing, and yes, even throwing poo. These sweet little boys are busy, busy, busy! Keva even had to bribe Heath with a little hay to get him to stay in the pictures. Yum!

1st Jack-O-Lantern

Caution: Picture Overload!

Note from Mommy: Usually I try to get rid of the pacifiers, but I thought during this adventure, it might be best to keep them in to deter eating parts of the pumpkin.

I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Pumpkin Mohawks: It actually worked better than gel.

Mid-Pumpkin Carving Baths were required.

*Note: No raw pumpkin or seeds were consumed during the carving of this pumpkin (that I know of).

Getting ready for...

...the most Wonderful Time of the Year.

I love Christmas. I love everything about Christmas. I love the crazy shopping days, the hustle and bustle, the music, the food, the family, the smells. I love the decorations. I love my Christmas tree. Unfortunately, I am afraid that Heath and Hunter are going to LOVE my Christmas tree, too. Therefore, my first purchase for the Christmas season...
...I present you with the Superyard XT. This "pen" will fit around the tree. It will block it off so that we may all admire the tree from a safe distance. It will be perfect so my beautiful tree does not have to suffer the "wrath" of my beautiful sons.
What's better than the Superyard XT? The box it comes in, of course! It also provides hours of entertainment to two very busy little boys.

Another good thing about the Superyard XT, it's portable and can go outside. It might be great for our Devil's River Trip next summer.
