Easter weekend was a wonderful time spent with my sweet little men (and one big one). It was a much needed break from the everyday. We started off on Friday evening dying Easter eggs. What Fun!
Saturday, we spend the day at the ranch for the Farris Family Easter party. There were lots of eggs, lots of fun, lots of family, and LOTs of food.
Waiting (not so patiently) with the cousins to hunt the eggs.
On your mark....get set....go!
Showing off the "loot" with our cousin Zoe.
Afterwards, it was Mommy and Daddy's turn to hunt eggs. Together they came away with $70, but over $60 in eggs was left out in the pasture. They were hidden too well!
Sunday morning we had a small egg hunt in the living room before we got ready for church.
Then, we entertained the entire church with the Easter stickers that Lolly and Pops sent us.
After church, we went to the park to hunt eggs with our church friends. What fun!
Finally, when our Sunday nap was over, we dove into the candy. We would still be there eating ourselves into a sugar coma if Momma hadn't pried the candy from our sticky little fingers.
The egg hunts were so much fun this year. The boys really understood the concept and had a blast finding the eggs. Throughout the rest of the weekend and all day on Monday we continued to hide the eggs in the living room, the play room, and the back yard. What fun!
