I just love our church family. These people can make a plain afternoon of swimming at the creek an adventure to be remembered. Food, fun, friends, and fellowship... What more could we ask for?

Country Boys

Chris says there is no better fish bait in the summertime than yellow grasshoppers. We had a bucket load of family fun catching grasshoppers by Lolly and Pops house. I got to hold the bucket.

Happy 4th of July

For the 4th of July, we went to the ranch and hung out with the family. We swam, ate hot dogs, and popped fire works (with the boys far, far away so we wouldn't have a repeat of last year). Sadly, the only pictures this forgetful momma got were the ones of the craft we did that morning before we left for the ranch. I'll try to be better next time.

Pickle Juice

The boys refused to drink the water in their cups the other day. Growing frustrated, Chris gave them the option of drinking their water or drinking pickle juice.  They chose pickle juice.

Church Camp 2012

This year we had a blast at the Pecos River Church Encampment. The preacher Willie Franklin was amazing and very uplifting. We enjoyed him immensely. The boys learned about Baby Moses in their bible class. We are all exhausted now, but it was well worth it.

Happy 3 1/2 Birthday Boys!

I love birthday parties, but I don't think my excitement came close to the twins excitement about their tractor birthday. They loved it!
